Crystal, CH Bootiff's Winter Ice Angel, was our first TT.  We had previously had Lhasa Apso's as pets and decided to research other breeds.  We wanted something a bit larger, non-shedding and loved the shaggy look.  We had not even seen a Tibetan Terrier in person, but already knew that this was the breed for us!

In 1999 we got Crystal at 1 ½ years of age from a breeder with the stipulation that we allow Crystal to complete her championship and have a litter of puppies.   Crystal was bred to Rags, CH Sim Pa Lea's Ragtime Cowboy.  When the litter was born Dec 21 1999.  Linda could not part with the puppies.  With the breeder's help we learned to care for them and even though it was considerable work she loved it.  Needless to say she had to keep one puppy from that litter and we were on our way!  That puppy was Bella, INTL & CH Deja's Masterpiece.  Bella was bred to Jazz, CH Ashlyn Connemara Jazz, and we kept a puppy, Summit, CH Shey's Pinnacle ROM.  He was the first dog we had with our own kennel name, Shey.   We were on our way at last!!!

In May of 2004 we adopted a 4 year old TT, Mariah, from Marje and Dan Kenniston, Connemara TT's.    Mariah is a sweetheart and we love her.

In the fall of 2004  we added Diva, CH Ashlyn Shey's Divine Design ROM, to our TT family.  Diva was born July 1, 2004 and was bred by our friends, Jan and Ron Jaramillo.  Diva is a gorgeous red and white female.  Ron has been a wonderful mentor to us and we value his friendship and expertise Thanks for the opportunity to own this sweet sweet girl. Ron!

June 7th 2005 Shey's Grand Jewel of the East, India joined our family. Summit  is her sire and if it is possible, she is even more sweet and loving than her father.  We are so blessed to have beautiful dogs with such wonderful temperaments in our home.   

June of 2006 we added Sonata to our family.  Ron again gave us this wonderful opportunity.  Sonata was born  September of 2001,  Her sire is Myles, BISS Intl CH Deja's Goin the Dystance,ROM and Ch Ashlyn Connemara's Melody ROM.
