Shey is a holy mountain in Nepal in an area where many Tibetan Buddhist refugees live.  It is also called Black Crystal Mountain (our first Tibetan Terrier was Crystal and she is black & white, hence the kennel name Shey).

Our puppies are completely socialized from the day they are born.  They are whelped in our guest bedroom, after 3 to 4 weeks they are moved into our family room so they are around us all day long.  Linda is home full time to care for the dogs and raise puppies.  We only have about 2 litters a year.  This is our hobby, love, and passion not our livelihood.  In fact it is a very expensive hobby!

We like to keep our puppies until 9 weeks of age or older.  Bill and Linda, along with the other dogs, give the puppies the stimulation and socialization so important to their development.  Our grandchildren and neighbor children come over often, so our puppies are familiar with children as well.

Our dogs are all registered with the AKC and will achieve their championship before they are bred.  All of our dogs and every puppy in our litters are BAER (hearing) tested.  We have every dog's eyes tested and reported to CERF each year.  We require that all of the dogs we sell have eyes are tested yearly as well.  At the age of two we have their hips x-rayed and do not breed them before we know that they are clear of hip displacia and receive an OFA rating of good or better.

We are member of the TTCA, Tibetan Terrier Club of America, and adhere to their guidelines.  We breed only to improve our line and the breed.  Good TT breeders are breeding towards eliminating genetic health problems and breed only dogs that  have a great temperament.  We give a health guarantee.  Also we will take back any of our dogs at any time for any reason. These little guys have taken over our lives.  They are playful and loving and are the best companions you could ever have!
